Fiendish encounter

Anerion's eyes pierced the moonlit night around the ruins. He knew they were out there. He could see their red, glowing eyes. A silent growl let him spin around, but it was too late. One of the wolves had approached him and now jumped at him, tripping the young elf over. In an instant, Anerion was on his knees again, firing an electrical sphere at the next wolf, just as it jumped.
An arrow from the right distracted him shortly. One of the wolfves staggered. The others came for Anerion. While he managed to evade one, two others sank their teeth in his legs. Anerion ground his teeth, but some other people now joined the fight. Two daggers came out of the dark, and the wolf that tripped him fell. One female warrior put her blade through another wolf. A third put an end to the one staggering wolf, and then one of the wolves just fell to the ground, sleeping. Anerion stepped back, burning some pelts with an electric lash.
